In my village, Herrera de Pisuerga, there is a factory of canned foods, called Conservas Ramos. This piece is a homage, and reminds me of wonderful smell of the tasty canned anchovies that my father and my uncle Antonio would share as an appetizer, together with some tomato fresh from the vegetable garden.
